Exhibition Concept

Historical art is not presented here as a closed chapter of the past. The exhibition asks how images, gestures and themes from the Renaissance continue to resonate within contemporary artistic positions and can be read anew.

The participating artists approach this historical reference through different media and perspectives. The result is an open space of experience connecting art-historical research, contemporary practice and the audience.
